Brake Pressure
and Brake Bias Display and Data Logging System Upgrades
Introducing a range of system upgrades designed
to provide precise measurement and readout of brake pressure
and bias. Featuring an intelligent alarm system to alert the
driver if the brake bias is not set within safe limits.
|
|
- Allows the
team to accurately reproduce proven set ups at every track
- Intelligent
Alarm System to alert the driver to an unsafe set up
- Ensures quick
and accurate changes between wet and dry set ups
- Precisely
replicates brake bias set up on different vehicles
- Allows precise
analysis of the driversí braking points and application of brakes
- Accurately
validates performance of different brake pads and disks
Clear Easy-to-Read Display
The brake bias values can be displayed as a user selectable layer
on the Dash Display and are presented in an easy-toread format, ensuring
that brake-bias can be quickly and precisely dialled in.
|
|

|
|
The Dash Display readout option also includes an intelligent
alarm system to alert the driver if a safe brake bias has
not been dialled in.
Whenever the brakes are applied - even under a light braking
load - the system will measure the bias and if it is utside
the set safe limits (which are user adjustable) the alarm
message is activated.
|
The warning message also informs the driver of the current % front-rear
bias setting.
Ultra High
Accuracy Sensors
Without sensors of a suitable accuracy a precise digital readout
is at best pointless, and at worse dangerously misleading. Brake
Bias should be set up with a very high degree of accuracy and, to
ensure we only provide the highest quality information, we supply
the most accurate sensor that we have tested with these systems.
Over their complete operating pressure range, and across wide temperature
conditions, these sensors are accurate to <+- 7.5 psi - 5 to10
times better than the best alternative sensors!
Furthermore the small size and robust construction of these sensors
make them ideally suited to the demands of the Motorsport environment.
This sensor is easy to install on the vehicle and is furnished with
a 3/8" UNF female threaded connector port to offer the installer
the widest flexibility if connection options.

The Data
Logging Advantage
The information a data Logging system can provide is greatly
enhanced by recording brake pressures. The brake pressure
data allows the user to precisely analyse driver and brake
system performance.
With the data logging system the user can compare the consistency
of the drivers’ braking points lap by lap and see how
quickly, and hard, the brakes are applied.
|
|
|
|
In conjunction
with speed, throttle and steering input, the brake pressure data provides
all the information necessary to analyse the effectiveness of different
drivers techniques.
Furthermore, by recording the deceleration G force and the brake pressure
value, the system provides unbeatable information for validating the
performance of brake materials and components.
